The Corton Hill fund was established to support groups that benefit the North Dorset area including Shaftesbury, Gillingham, Sturminster, Sherborne, Blandford, Beaminster and Cerne Abbas.

The Fund has four priority areas and grants will be made for activities addressing these areas of interest: children & young people and particularly those who are disadvantaged, older people, particularly addressing loneliness & isolation, health & wellbeing, supporting sports groups that contribute to community cohesion and are accessible for disadvantaged groups and supporting environment & conservation projects involving the community.

The fund was also instrumental in providing emergency funding to groups working in North Dorset supporting communities during the Coronavirus pandemic.
